Artist Alex Israel will discuss the journey to Heaven, his new exhibition on Aspen Mountain, held in the building formerly known as Ruthie’s. In conversation with Aspen Art Museum’s Chief Curator, Daniel Merritt, the artist will reflect upon his multifaceted collaboration with the museum and Aspen One, which brings together over thirty lifelike paintings of celebrities at the base of the treasured Ruthie’s run.
